- parenchymal asbestosis,
- pleural abnormalities,
- lung carcinoma, and
- mesothelioma
Diagnosis involves

- physical examination,
- chest radiography,
- pulmonary function tests, and
- other tests as needed
Management focuses on:
- Preventing further exposures
- Smoking cessation
- Monitoring to aid early detection
