Medical evaluation of all patients should
include:
- Assessment of clinical presentation
- Exposure history
- Medical history
- Physical examination
- Chest radiograph and pulmonary function
tests
Radiologic and laboratory testing can include:
- CT or HRCT
- BAL
- Lung biopsy (rarely needed)
